Returns & Refunds Policy
We want you to shop at SpeedTrainer with total confidence. If something isn’t quite right, we’ve made our returns and exchanges process simple, transparent, and fair.
1. When Can I Return an Item?
- Returns or exchanges must be requested within 7 days of delivery or collection.
- Items must be unused, unworn, and returned in their original packaging with all tags attached.
- Your order number or proof of purchase is required.
- Sale or clearance items may only be returned if faulty, damaged, or not as described.
- Items showing signs of wear, use, or missing packaging/tags cannot be accepted.
2. Refunds
- Refunds are processed once we receive and inspect the returned item.
- Inspection typically takes up to 3 working days after delivery to us.
- Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 working days.
- Refunds are issued using the original payment method:
- Card payments: up to 10 working days
- EFT payments: up to 2 working days
- A flat R85 return fee applies for refunds (covers courier collection and handling).
- Return fees are waived if the item was faulty, damaged, or sent incorrectly.
- Original delivery fees are non-refundable unless the error was on our side.
3. Exchanges
- Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
- Items are inspected before any exchange is approved.
- If your preferred size, style, or colour is unavailable, a refund will be issued instead.
- A flat R170 return fee applies for exchanges (courier collection and processing).
- Exchanges are free of charge if we sent the wrong size, style, or colour.
4. Return Collection & Shipping
- We arrange courier collection directly from your address for convenience.
- Free collection applies only if the item is faulty, damaged, or sent incorrectly.
- For all other returns:
- Refunds: R85 courier collection fee
- Exchanges: R170 courier collection fee
5. How to Start a Return or Exchange
- Email info@speedtrainer.co.za with your order number and reason for return or exchange.
- Our support team will confirm eligibility and arrange courier collection.
- Please pack the item securely in its original packaging with all tags attached.
- The courier will collect from your provided address.
Important Information
- Please ensure items are securely packed.
- We cannot accept responsibility for items damaged or lost if not collected by our appointed courier.
- Gift cards, promotional items, and clearance stock are non-refundable unless defective.
- This policy applies to deliveries within South Africa only.
